Michael Muhammad is the Vice President of Diversity/Innovative Services at Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART). In his capacity as Vice President of Diversity, he oversees DART's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program, Minority and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise Program, and the Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action (EEO/AA) Programs. Michael is also responsible for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act as well as DART Employee/Labor Relations.

Michael also leads DART's newest department, the Innovative Services Department. In this capacity he strives to identify, recommend and advance innovative services, programs, and delivery methods. This group also works to enhance the regions economic and cultural development and to provide the public with enhanced benefits.

Michael began serving DART in 1994 as an attorney in private practice, and eventually came in-house as an assistant general counsel.
