Downtown Dallas construction information

Downtown Dallas: Live Oak Exit Closure Effective Sunday, June 17, 2007 The Live Oak exit on southbound US 75 (Exit 284C) will be closed starting Sunday night, June 17 and remain closed until June 2009. The closure is part of DART's Green Line Rail construction around the Bryan/Hawkins intersection. Two bridges in the area have been removed and the road is being lowered to street level. Motorists who typically take the Live Oak exit are advised to either exit at Lemmon or take the Ross exit and travel to Pearl St. View a street location map. • To support construction around the Bryan/Hawkins intersection: Bryan is closed between Leonard and Good Latimer. View a street location map. Good Latimer is reduced to one lane in each direction between Bryan and Elm. View a street location map. • Motorists will not be able to make left turns from Leonard St. across the DART Rail tracks. View a street location map.

Market Center Community construction information

Market Center Community: • Southbound Harry Hines between Market Center and Vagas is reduced to one lane and northbound Harry Hines between Knight and Lucas is reduced to one lane through the end of December. View a street location map. • Harry Hines Blvd. between Vagas St. and Oak Lawn Ave. is reduced to one lane in each direction until further notice. Love Field West Community construction information

Love Field West Community: Neighborhood Construction Advisory - West of Love Field Construction on DART's exciting Green Line expansion into Northwest Dallas, Farmers Branch and Carrollton has begun in earnest and will continue until passenger service officially begins in December 2010. Listed below is a brief outline of how some of the major streets in the neighborhood west of Love Field will be affected. Denton Drive @ Mockingbird Lane Motorists should expect periodic lane reduction on both streets as various construction stages proceed during the project. Gilford Avenue Gilford Avenue will be temporarily closed between Denton Drive and just west of Little Denton for reconstruction. This will include temporarily closing off access to this street from Little Denton and Denton Drive. During the closure, traffic will be detoured along other streets to reach Denton Drive. View a street location map. Wyman Street @ Denton Drive Wyman is currently being accessed via a new bus lane from Burbank and is under construction at the access from Denton Drive. View a street location map. • Manor Way at Denton Drive is closed until further notice. View a street location map. • Traffic is reduced to one lane each way at W. Mockingbird Lane and Denton Drive. View a street location map. • From October 15 through November 5, westbound Hawes Ave. will have a lane reduction for water and sewer line installation. Westbound traffic will be maintained via the eastbound lane. View a street location map. • From Friday, October 17 through approximately 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, there will be a lane closure on Denton Drive north of Love Field Drive to facilitate work on a street manhole. View a street location map. • Community Drive is closed until further notice with access available via Northwest Highway and Harry Hines Blvd. View a street location map. • Webb Chapel Extension and Denton Drive is reduced to one lane in each direction for the installation of underground utilities until further notice. Walnut Hill/Denton Area construction information

Walnut Hill/Denton Area: Construction for DART's exciting Green Line Expansion Program into Northwest Dallas, Farmers Branch and Carrollton, is underway and will continue until the new passenger service begins in December 2010. Construction in this area will necessitate occasional traffic shifts and detours as some of the local streets and infrastructure are improved. • There will be traffic switches at the intersection of Webb Chapel and Denton until further notice. View a street location map. • Denton Drive is closed from Storey Lane to Webb Chapel until further notice. View a street location map. • Denton Drive is closed from Willowbrook to Storey Lane until further notice. Through October 24, only local traffic is allowed on Denton Drive between Willowbrook and Lombardy. Detour for through traffic is available via Harry Hines Blvd. View a street location map. •  Denton Drive between Storey Lane and Lombardy is reduced to one lane southbound. View a street location map. • On Monday, October 20 from 7 p.m. until approximately 11 p.m., aerial beams will be put in place on Lombardy near Denton. View a street location map. • Denton Drive between Lombardy and Walnut Hill will be closed except for local traffic. Motorists are encouraged to look for local road detour signage. View a street location map. •  Century Drive between Doric Street and Denton Drive will permanently close. Local business traffic wishing to access Denton Drive from the east will need to detour along Doric Street to Abernathy Avenue and Lombardy Lane. This work will be followed by subsequent traffic shifts at this location--each lasting for several weeks--to allow for the reconstruction of Century Drive with a direct connection to Abernathy Lane. Road construction on Century Drive is anticipated to continue until Fall 2009. • Walnut Hill near Denton Drive may have daily lane closures. View a street location map.

Farmers Branch Community construction information

Farmers Branch Community: Farmers Branch On-Call Boarding With Other DART Routes at Farmers Branch Park & Ride - Effective October 20, 2008 All Farmers Branch On-Call vehicles drop off and board passengers at the temporary transit center on Denton Drive. This is the location currently being used by Bus Routes 44, 185, 204, 247, 331, 400 and 486. Boarding will take place at the sign marked: DEPARTURES All Bus Routes All DART services will use this stop until the new Green Line rail station opens across the street in December 2010. Carrollton Community construction information

Carrollton Community: Construction for DART's exciting Green Line Expansion Program into Northwest Dallas, Farmers Branch and Carrollton, is under way and will continue until the new passenger service begins in December 2010. Construction in this area will necessitate occasional traffic shifts and detours as some of the local streets and infrastructure are improved. • Through the end of October, southbound Broadway will be closed from Crosby to Randolph due to aerial construction activity. Fair Park Community construction information

Fair Park Community: • Two left lanes are closed eastbound Haskell to Parry. View a street location map. • First Ave. at Parry is open both directions eastbound. First Ave. east of Parry will normally flow as one way east (into Fair Park). View a street location map. •  Westbound lanes on Grand Ave. are closed. Traffic is switched to the eastbound lanes. View a street location map. • Trunk Avenue northbound, between Grand Ave. and John's Cars is closed to thru traffic. Hatcher Community construction information

Hatcher Community: •  Eastbound traffic along Scyene Rd. between Second Ave. and Hatcher St. and westbound traffic along Scyene Rd. between Hatcher St. and Lawnview Ave. may have periodic lane reductions. Lake June Community construction information

Lake June Community: • On Jim Miller Road between Lake June Road and US 175, the two inner lanes have been reopened and the outer lanes have been closed.
