Downtown Dallas construction information

Downtown Dallas: Live Oak Exit Closure Effective Sunday, June 17, 2007 The Live Oak exit on southbound US 75 (Exit 284C) will be closed starting Sunday night, June 17 and remain closed until June 2009. The closure is part of DART's Green Line Rail construction around the Bryan/Hawkins intersection. Two bridges in the area have been removed and the road is being lowered to street level. Motorists who typically take the Live Oak exit are advised to either exit at Lemmon or take the Ross exit and travel to Pearl St. View a street location map. • To support construction around the Bryan/Hawkins intersection: Bryan is closed between Leonard and Good Latimer. View a street location map. Good Latimer is reduced to one lane in each direction between Bryan and Elm. Market Center Community construction information

Market Center Community:  Harry Hines will be closed in both directions between Wycliff and Market Center for bridge work from 5 a.m. Saturday, August 23 to 5 a.m. Monday, August 25. Customers are advised to look for detour signs. View a street location map. • Southbound Harry Hines between Market Center and Vagas is reduced to one lane and northbound Harry Hines between Knight and Lucas is reduced to one lane until approximately September 1. Love Field West Community construction information

Love Field West Community: Neighborhood Construction Advisory - West of Love Field Construction on DART's exciting Green Line expansion into Northwest Dallas, Farmers Branch and Carrollton has begun in earnest and will continue until passenger service officially begins in December 2010. Listed below is a brief outline of how some of the major streets in the neighborhood west of Love Field will be affected. Denton Drive @ Mockingbird Lane Motorists should expect periodic lane reduction on both streets as various construction stages proceed during the project. Gilford Avenue Gilford Avenue will be temporarily closed between Denton Drive and just west of Little Denton for reconstruction. This will include temporarily closing off access to this street from Little Denton and Denton Drive. During the closure, traffic will be detoured along other streets to reach Denton Drive. View a street location map. Wyman Street @ Denton Drive Wyman is currently being accessed via a new bus lane from Burbank and is under construction at the access from Denton Drive. View a street location map. • Manor Way at Denton Drive is closed until further notice. View a street location map. • Traffic is reduced to one lane each way at W. Mockingbird Lane and Denton Drive. View a street location map. • Harry Hines Blvd. near Community Drive will have temporary daily lane closures until mid-August to facilitate utility work. Walnut Hill/Denton Area construction information

Walnut Hill/Denton Area: Construction for DART's exciting Green Line Expansion Program into Northwest Dallas, Farmers Branch and Carrollton, is underway and will continue until the new passenger service begins in December 2010. Construction in this area will necessitate occasional traffic shifts and detours as some of the local streets and infrastructure are improved. • Denton Drive is closed from Willowbrook to Storey Lane until further notice. Detour is available via Harry Hines Blvd. View a street location map. • Denton Drive between Lombardy and Walnut Hill will be closed except for local traffic. Motorists are encouraged to look for local road detour signage. View a street location map. •  Denton Drive between Storey Lane and Lombardy is reduced to one lane southbound. View a street location map. • Traffic lanes on Abernathy will be narrowed beginning August 11 to facilitate the installation of sidewalks. Work is scheduled to be complete before the opening of school on August 25. View a street location map. •  Century Drive between Doric Street and Denton Drive will permanently close. Local business traffic wishing to access Denton Drive from the east will need to detour along Doric Street to Abernathy Avenue and Lombardy Lane. This work will be followed by subsequent traffic shifts at this location--each lasting for several weeks--to allow for the reconstruction of Century Drive with a direct connection to Abernathy Lane. Road construction on Century Drive is anticipated to continue until Fall 2009. • Walnut Hill near Denton Drive may have daily lane closures. View a street location map.

Farmers Branch Community construction information

Farmers Branch Community: Rail Construction at Farmers Branch Park & Ride - Effective August 11, 2008 For All Bus Routes Serving Farmers Branch Park & Ride: As construction continues on the future Farmers Branch Green Line rail station, all bus activity at Farmers Branch Park & Ride will relocate to a new, temporary location on Monday, August 11. Routes 44, 185, 204, 247, 331, 400 and 486 will board along Denton Drive at the sign marked: DEPARTURES All Bus Routes DART On-Call Farmers Branch and DART Paratransit Services will continue to board at their current stops. The Denton Drive location will serve bus passengers until all service moves to the new rail station in December 2010. View a street location map. • During the week of August 18-22, Denton Drive, between Villa Creek Drive and the westbound I-635 service road, will be closed to facilitate underground utility work. Motorists will be detoured as follows: northbound traffic detoured onto Harry Hines via westbound I-635 service road and southbound traffic will be detoured to westbound I-635 service road via Villa Creek. Carrollton Community construction information

Carrollton Community Construction for DART's exciting Green Line Expansion Program into Northwest Dallas, Farmers Branch and Carrollton, is under way and will continue until the new passenger service begins in December 2010. Construction in this area will necessitate occasional traffic shifts and detours as some of the local streets and infrastructure are improved. • Ismaili Center Circle is nearing completion. Deep Ellum Community construction information

Deep Ellum Community:  Gaston will be closed in both directions at the rail guideway between Hawkins and Cantegral and Good Latimer will be closed in both directions between Miranda and Elm from 7 p.m. Friday, August 22 to 5 a.m. Monday, August 25. Customers are advised to look for detour signs. View a street location map. • Gaston Ave. at Good Latimer is reduced to one lane in each direction. View a street location map. • Live Oak now has two lanes open in each direction at Good Latimer. View a street location map.   The Canton and Main intersection will be closed from 7 a.m. on Saturday, August 23 to approximately 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 24. Fair Park Community construction information

Fair Park Community: • Two left lanes are closed eastbound Haskell to Parry. View a street location map. • First Ave. at Parry is open both directions eastbound. First Ave. east of Parry will normally flow as one way east (into Fair Park). View a street location map. • There is a traffic switch along northbound R.B. Cullum Blvd. and Parry Ave. from Grand Ave. to First Ave. View a street location map. •  Westbound lanes on Grand Ave. are closed. Traffic is switched to the eastbound lanes. Hatcher Community construction information

Hatcher Community: •  Eastbound traffic along Scyene Rd. between Second Ave. and Hatcher St. and westbound traffic along Scyene Rd. between Hatcher St. and Lawnview Ave. may have periodic lane reductions. Lake June Community construction information

Lake June Community: • On Lake June Road, the westbound outer lane is closed at Gillette.
