Rolando Diaz imageAbout the Artist
Rolando Diaz's "Fast Forward" combines his bold and colorful style, derived from his Cuban heritage, and his knowledge of DART, where he worked as a graphic artist early in his career.

Diaz's striking wall murals and paintings adorn collectors' residences as well as popular restaurants and nightspots in major U.S. cities, including Dallas' Samba Room, Cuidad and Nikita. Special commissions include "Pegasus the Guardian," commemorating the 1999 renovation of the Flying Red Horse atop Dallas' Magnolia Hotel, and "Reaching for Freedom," painted in 2002 for Central Dallas Ministries' annual fundraising gala. His works also have been exhibited locally at the Ann Thompson Gallery, Gallery 209, The Pace Collection and The Florence Art Gallery.
