Interns Explore Transit Careers




DART welcomed 33 high school, college and graduate students as part of its summer internship program.

The four high school students came from the Dallas Mayor's Intern Fellows Program, while the college and graduate students represented 15 universities. The interns explored careers in public transportation while gaining valuable work experience.

Interns worked in departments across the agency including: DART Police, Executive Office, Government Relations, Legal Administration, Maintenance, Marketing and Communications, Rail Program Development, Safety, Technology, and Transportation.
