Schedule Modifications

Minor Route Changes Planned
Monday, August 4, 2008

Passengers on a number of DART bus routes are encouraged to obtain new customer timetables when service changes go into effect Monday, August 4, 2008. These service modifications are listed below.

Routes listed on this page: 2, 44, 49, 110, 111, 165, 183, 283, 301, 400, 405, 408, 463, 466, 547, 548

Route & Schedule Changes

All non-HOV trips during rush hour will serve the Owenwood neighborhood (south of Interstate 30 between Grand Ave. and Dolphin Road), the same as all non-HOV trips of Route 111. This will increase rush-hour frequency along Winslow Ave., Culver St., Fairview Ave. and Dolphin to every 20 minutes. Service along Grand between the I-30 service road and Samuell Blvd., and on Samuell between Grand and Dolphin will continue to be provided by off-peak trips of Route 110. There will also be a change in the customer timetable.

The southern portion of the route will be modified to serve the new Target store at Wheatland Road and Interstate 20. Buses will operate over slightly different routes on weekdays and weekends.

WEEKDAYS: Buses will continue over the regular route on Wheatland Road, turn right on Old Hickory Trail, left on Beckleymeade Ave., left on Hampton Road, left on Wheatland, right on the I-20 service road (serving the store), and left on Kirnwood Drive back to Wheatland.

WEEKENDS: Buses will continue over the regular route on Wheatland, turn left on I-20 service road (serving the store), and left on Kirnwood back to Wheatland. The detour implemented on May 5, 2008, will become a permanent part of the route. There will also be an adjustment to the customer timetable.

NOTE: Saturday service to the Woods/Surgarberry will remain unaffected.

Previous Detours Made Permanent

The detour implemented on May 5, 2008, will become a permanent part of the route. There will also be an adjustment to the customer timetable.

• Route 44 schedules and map effective August 4, 2008



The detour implemented on April 7, 2008, will become a permanent part of the route. There will be no change in the schedule.



The detour implemented on April 28, 2008, will become a permanent part of the route. There will be a slight change in the schedule.

• Route 408 schedules and map effective August 4, 2008



Customers should also obtain new timetables for routes 2, 49, 111, 165, 183, 283, 301, 400, 463, 466 and 547.
