Effective Monday, September 14, 2009GREEN LINE TO BEGIN OPERATION BETWEEN VICTORY AND MLK, JR. STATIONS
Phase One of DART's eagerly anticipated Green Line is the highlight of a number of systemwide service modifications this fall. Trains will initially operate from Victory Station through the downtown transitway mall, then to Deep Ellum, the Baylor University Medical district, the main entrance of Fair Park - just in time for the 2009 State Fair of Texas - and Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.The entire Green Line, from Buckner Station in Pleasant Grove to North Carrollton/Frankford Station, is scheduled to open in December 2010. Also described in this brochure are bus route and schedule changes designed to connect to the new Green Line service, more accurately match service levels to ridership demands, and reduce service duplication. CONNECTING SERVICE TO GREEN LINE STATIONS
• VICTORY STATION
All trips of the Trinity Railway Express will serve Victory Station at American Airlines Center, providing a direct link to the Green Line and downtown stations. Bus Route 26, 44 and 49 operate within close proximity, but no direct bus connections are planned at Victory.NOTE: See Red and Blue Line Modifications section for additional rail service to Victory Station.
