DART Minor Service Change

ROUTE AND SCHEDULE MODIFICATIONS

Service changes targeted for September will be relatively minor, compared to the massive overhaul of December 2010. Most service levels will remain unchanged with only a small number of route modifications to offer more direct access to employment and activity centers. Many bus schedules will be adjusted to improve connections between bus and rail and more accurately reflect ridership demands.

Changes fall into three basic categories:

• Route modifications, including making current detours permanent.
• Service and schedule adjustments.
• Service reductions targeting low-performing services (primarily weekend frequency).

NEW, DART Now Connects with Denton County Transportation Authority's A-train

Effective June 20, 2011, DART passengers may connect with the DCTA's A-train at Trinity Mills Station to points in Lewisville and Denton. For schedules and information, please visit www.DCTA.net.
