Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Holidays mean schedule changes for DART

DART services will run on an adjusted schedule during the Christmas and New Year's holidays.
  • DART bus and light rail services will follow a Sunday schedule on Christmas and New Year's Day.
  • The Trinity Railway Express commuter rail will not run Christmas or New Year's Day.
  • The High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane on I-30 East R.L. Thornton will be closed during evening rush hours (4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) on Christmas Eve and all day Christmas. The reversible S-ramp at the southern end of the I-35E Stemmons HOV lane also will follow that schedule.
  • The HOV lane on I-30 East R.L. Thornton and the reversible S-ramp at the southern end of the I-35E Stemmons HOV lane will be closed Monday, December 28, through Friday, January 1, for repairs. Both facilities will re-open on Monday, January 4.
  • The remaining portion of the Stemmons HOV lanes and the HOV lanes on LBJ Freeway will be open 24 hours a day as usual.

DART administrative offices are closed both Christmas and New Year's Day. However, customers with questions about DART schedules may still contact Customer Service at 214-979-1111 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Christmas or New Year's Day. Customer information also is available on DART's website, www.DART.org.
