Dallas City Council names Wong Krause to DART Board

Michele Wong Krause, a former City of Dallas Associate Municipal Judge, has been appointed to the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) board of directors.

Wong Krause is an attorney in private law practice with the Wong Krause Law Firm of Dallas and previously worked as an associate hearing officer before becoming an associate municipal judge in 2006.

She serves on the boards of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association and formerly chaired both the State Bar of Texas Asian Pacific Interest Section and the State Bar of Texas Hispanic Interest Section. She was also the president of the Dallas Asian American Bar Association in 1994 and the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association in 2002.

Wong Krause graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in Political Science before earning her law degree from Southern Methodist University.

She replaces William Tsao who served on the DART board since 2007.
