DART's Snoble Honored by Public Administrators
The North Texas Chapter of the American Society of Public Administrators has named DART President/Executive Director Roger Snoble "Public Administrator of the Year."
Snoble was honored for representing "excellence in public administration," and for having made "an important impact on the region through efficient and effective government." Chapter President Brian Pokluda presented the 26th annual award to Snoble, citing the agency's leadership in local government and for finding innovative way to leverage public funding.
Previous award winners include Parkland Hospital District CEO Dr. Ron Anderson, Tarrant County Judge Tom Vandergriff, former Arlington City Manager George Campbell, and former Dallas City Manager Richard Knight.
"I'm grateful to the Society for this award, and proud to accept it on behalf of the DART Board of Directors and all DART employees," Snoble said. "We're proud of the strides DART has made in improving mobility, creating economic opportunity and raising the quality of life in our region."
