Public meetings scheduled throughout October
DART hosts community meetings on bus changes
DART is holding 11 community meetings seeking input on the February 21, 2005 bus service change. The meetings precede an October 26 public hearing.
The proposed bus service modifications include service from the new J. B. Jackson Jr., Blvd. Transit Center (near Fair Park), minor schedule changes for easier connections, as well as adding and combining routes to reach more employment and retail destinations.
The DART Board of Directors is scheduled to vote on the proposed changes on November 23. Routes under review include: 11, 12, 26, 35, 36, 50, 51, 52 (new), 60, 185, 202, 311, 331, 341, 350, 377, 409, 412, 415, 428, 445, 453, 466, 475, 486, 510, 513, 556, 561, 572.
The public is encouraged to attend and participate at the following meetings:
