Lopez and fifteen additional winners were chosen from five different grade-level categories: kindergarten through first grade, second through third grade, fourth through fifth grade, sixth through eighth grade, and ninth through twelfth grade.

A total of 155 entries were received and judged by Scott Winterrowd, Assistant Curator of Education, Meadows Museum at SMU and Lyle Miller, Senior Manager, Creative Services at DART.

Each first place winner in the kindergarten through fifth grade categories will receive a Radio Disney presentation for their class. Each first place winner in middle and high school levels will have their artwork featured at DART rail stations.

Lopez, first place winners and runners-up were honored at the May 26 DART Board meeting.
