Women's Transportation Seminar Hosts Federal Highway Official at October Luncheon
Gloria Jeff, Deputy Administrator of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is the featured speaker at the next meeting of the Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) on Wednesday, October 20, at the Arlington Hilton. The meeting and luncheon begin at noon.

The FHWA is an agency of the U.S. Department of Transportation, and works with state and local governments to improve the quality of the nation's highway system and intermodal connections.
Jeff was named Deputy Administrator by U.S. Secretary of Transportation Rodney Slater in August 1997. She previously served as FHWA Associate Administrator for Policy, where she oversaw the development of the agency's Strategic Plan, including a comprehensive outreach effort to public and private organizations.
Cost for the luncheon is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. For information or to RSVP, call Juanita Rodriguez at 817-459-6355 or FAX to 817-459-6379 by Friday, October 15.
