Design Projects for Light Rail Transit (LRT) Build-Out Phase II contains information for prospective offerors regarding Design Project solicitations that will potentially be advertised during fiscal years 2007 through 2008 by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART).

The descriptions and other data included in this listing are for general information only and are not to be construed as final. The exact description of the work and other pertinent information concerning an individual design project will be found in the solicitation documents when the solicitation is issued. Further, the design projects listed in this forecast represent prime contract opportunities, whereas, attendant subcontracting opportunities will be identified in the individual solicitations.

Project Mgmt.	Rowlett Corridor Line Section (R-1)	2007	Approx. 4.6 miles extending from the downtown Garland Station along the former Union Pacific (UP) Railroad to the Rowlett Transit Center. The line section includes bridge structures over Lavon Drive, KCS Railway, SH 66, Commerce St. (in the City of Garland), Main St., and three separate structures over Rowlett Creek.
