Below is a listing of commodity and service codes used by DART in its purchasing practices.
To locate vendors interested in submitting bids or proposals, DART uses a computerized vendor database. Vendors are added to the database according to the commodities and services they sell.
Vendors decide which categories of commodities and services they are to be listed under.
This is not done by DART.
To this extent, vendors should take care to insure they have selected and communicated to DART all appropriate commodity and service codes.
