Downtown Bus Riders Should Prepare for Detours During Turkey Trot Race on Thurs, Nov 22

If you're planning to ride a bus in Downtown Dallas on Thursday, Nov. 22, it would be wise to plan ahead.

The 2012 Capital One Bank Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot (Run/Walk) will place a number of bus routes on detour beginning at approximately 9 a.m. and continuing through the duration of the race. View more information about the race at www.thetrot.com.

Bus routes affected include: 1, 2, 11, 12, 19, 21, 24, 26, 29, 31, 35, 36, 42, 49, 51, 52, 59, 60, 76, 110, 111, 161, and 164.

Note: DART buses and light rail trains will operate on a Sunday schedule Thursday, Nov. 22. The Trinity Railway Express (TRE) will not operate on Thanksgiving Day.
