DART Rail Orange Line Airport Service

How To Ride DART To DFW International Airport PDF opens in a new window DFW Airport Station
DART Rail Orange Line operates seven days a week to DFW Airport Station, located at DFW Airport's Terminal A. Trains arrive at DFW regularly from 3:50 a.m. to 1:19 a.m. daily.

Fares:

A two-hour Local pass is $2.50. A DART Local Day Pass is $5.00 and is good for unlimited rides on all DART buses, DART Rail and TRE trains between Union Station and CentrePort/DFW Airport until 3 a.m. the next day.

LUGGAGE ON THE TRAIN

Bags Ride Free
  • Make sure you can carry or wheel all your luggage by yourself.
  • No luggage carts, please.
  • Luggage must not block aisles; there are no luggage racks on the train.
  • DART operators do not provide assistance.
  • The center section of each train car offers platform-level boarding - perfect for roll-on luggage - plus additional floor space.
  • A DFW Smarte Carte station is located between the station and Terminal A.

AT THE AIRPORT

Checking Bags
American Airlines passengers (flying from any terminal) can walk from the rail station to Terminal A, check in, check bags and pass through a security checkpoint; passengers taking American Airlines flights from another terminal can do the same and then take Skylink to their departure terminal.

Passengers using other airlines with bags to check should keep them and use the Terminal Link bus shuttle to reach the desired terminal; those with carry-on luggage can go through security and take Skylink.

Using Terminal Link - Terminal Link is free and stops near the rail station.

Using Skylink - Skylink is located inside the terminal, beyond airport security.

DART Local Fare
$2.50 for a two-hour pass, $5 for a day pass.

Trinity Railway Express (TRE) Airport Service

TRE Train The TRE links downtown Dallas Union Station or downtown Fort Worth's ITC Station with CentrePort/DFW Airport Station Monday through Saturday. The airport's free DFW Remote South shuttle bus service provides continuous connections between the station and airline terminals.

DFW Airport Remote Shuttle BusThree shuttle bus routes link CentrePort/DFW Airport Station and the airlines, by way of the DFW Remote South parking lot.

To airline terminals:

TRE passengers traveling from CentrePort/DFW Airport Station to airline terminals board DFW Remote South buses on the northwest end of the rail station platform. Buses depart the station approximately every 15-30 minutes weekdays and Saturdays. At DFW Remote South, passengers connect to buses serving either Terminals A and C, Terminals B and E, or Terminal D.

From airline terminals:

Airline travelers arriving at DFW Airport board DFW Remote South buses at designated stops on the lower level of the terminals. Buses depart the terminals approximately every 15 minutes. At DFW Remote South, passengers connect to buses serving CentrePort/DFW Airport Station. Buses to CentrePort/DFW Airport Station depart DFW Remote South approximately every 15-30 minutes weekdays and Saturdays.

Weekdays and Saturdays
  • Shuttles to and from the terminals run approximately every 15 minutes.
Sunday
  • No TRE Service. Shuttles to and from the terminals run approximately every 15 minutes.

TRE Fares:

A two-hour Local pass from CentrePort/DFW Airport Station to stations east is $2.50. A two-hour TRE 1 Zone pass to stations west of CentrePort/DFW Airport Station is $2.50. One-day passes are also available and are good for unlimited rides (including your return trip) until 3 a.m. the next day.

Traveling east towards Dallas? A Local Day Pass ($5.00) is valid for TRE trains between CentrePort/DFW Airport and Union Station, all DART buses and DART Rail.
Traveling west towards Fort Worth? A TRE 1 Zone Day Pass ($5.00) is valid for TRE trains between CentrePort/DFW Airport and Fort Worth T&P Station and all T buses.
Traveling east to Denton via TRE, DART Rail and DCTA A-train? A Regional Day Pass ($10.00) is valid for all TRE trains, all DART and T buses, DART Rail and DCTA services.

Hold on to your ticket or pass and be prepared to show them to a DART Fare Enforcement Officer, DART Police Officer or other uniformed DART or TRE personnel.

Route 408:
  • Serves DFW Remote South parking lot 7 days a week
  • Purchase a $2.50 two-hour pass or buy a $5.00 Local Day Pass and ride all day


  • DFW Airport to Downtown Dallas

    Ride the route 408 SW MED DISTRICT/PARKLAND STA bus from the DFW Remote South parking lot to the Southwestern Medical District/Parkland Station to connect to DART Rail. Ride the Green Line or Orange Line to downtown Dallas.

    Downtown Dallas to DFW Airport

    Route 408 DFW AIRPORT serves the DFW Remote South parking lot. Ride the Green Line or Orange Line from a downtown station to Southwestern Medical District/Parkland Station and transfer to route 408.

  • Bus route 408 runs 7 days a week
  • All DFW Airport trips will serve the DFW Remote South parking lot. From there, take the airport bus shuttle to travel between the DFW Remote South parking lot and the airport terminals. Continuous airport bus service is available to all terminals.
  • Bus route 408 serves Downtown Irving/Heritage Crossing Station and Southwestern Medical District/Parkland Station.

  • DART Bus Fares:

    A two-hour pass is $2.50. A DART Local Day Pass is $5.00 and is good for unlimited rides on all DART buses, DART Rail and TRE trains between Union Station and CentrePort/DFW Airport until 3 a.m. the next day.

    A Regional Day Pass is $10.00 and is good for unlimited rides on all DART buses, DART Rail, all TRE trains plus The T in Fort Worth and DCTA in Denton County on the date purchased until 3 a.m. the next day.
