FLEX Service

FLEX is a service offering the advantages of a fixed route plus the convenience of curbside service.

This route charges a DART Local fare for boardings at bus stops and for trips that begin or end away from the local or fixed route. FLEX requests will be limited to the designated FLEX zone.

Passengers requesting FLEX service may do so by calling the number below at least one hour prior to the desired rip. Operators will no longer accept walk-up FLEX requests. Approval of FLEX requests will depend upon ridership, traffic, and timing of other requests.

Note: Currently, the only FLEX route flexing is Route 842 (Buckner). As soon as we resume flexing on the remainder of the routes, we will notify customers via a Rider Alert. Routes not flexing will only operate the local route.
