Route 842 - Buckner Station FLEX

Note: Currently, the only FLEX route flexing is Route 842 (Buckner). As soon as we resume flexing on the remainder of the routes, we will notify customers via a Rider Alert. Routes not flexing will only operate the local route.

Route 842 - Buckner Station FLEX will serve an area bounded roughly by Buckner Blvd to the west, Elam and Ravenview to the north, Seagoville Road to the east and Teagarden Road to the south.

Vans will follow a fixed route from the Buckner Station.

Passengers requesting FLEX service may do so by calling the number below at least one hour prior to the desired trip. Operators will no longer accept walk-up FLEX requests. Approval of FLEX requests will depend upon ridership, traffic, and timing of other requests.

Flex Route Fare Structure

This route charges a DART Local fare for boardings at bus stops and for trips that begin or end away from the local or fixed route. FLEX requests will be limited to the designated FLEX zone.
