DART's 2016 Student Art Contest

Win $1,000 or other prizes!

This year's theme:

DART to discovery

  1. Designs must be original work created by the student and should illustrate the theme "DART to discovery." Contest open to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Limit one entry per student.
  2. Entries must measure 11" high x 17" wide, and the design should be laid out horizontally. The back of the entry should include: Student's name, grade level, school name and teacher's name.
  3. Media may include crayons, paint, markers, colored pencils and digital art.
  4. All lettering must be legible even when letters are used as design elements.
  5. The DART logo must appear on any drawings of buses or trains.
  6. Entries due by 5 p.m. on Monday, February 29, 2016 and should be mailed or personally delivered to:

  7. DART will notify the winners by Monday, March 21, 2016.
  8. All artwork becomes the property of DART and may be used with appropriate credit to the artist. By entering the contest, you consent to have your name and photograph appear as one of the winners.
  9. Winning posters will be posted on DART's website,
  10. Students who submit their artwork early will receive a special prize.
  11. Teachers or program leaders with the most submissions will receive a special prize.
