State Fair of Texas Sept. 29-Oct 22 Celebrating 131 years of tradition in the fall, the State Fair of Texas® will return for another season of food, festivities, and family fun. Themed "Celebrating Texans," this year's exposition kicks off on Friday, September 29 in historic Fair Park, 1300 Robert B. Cullum Blvd. Information: bigtex.com.

DART and the State Fair of Texas are making it easier than ever to buy your 2017 general admission tickets to one of the finest fairs in the nation. Hundreds of thousands of riders have used GoPass to buy and display transit passes. You can also buy your State Fair of Texas general admission with the same app. Show your purchased fair ticket on GoPass at the gates to get in. To make the deal even sweeter, you'll save two dollars on every fair ticket by using GoPass!

In the app, select Buy Tickets, All Tickets, Special Events to purchase your State Fair of Texas admission tickets

D-Link Bus Effective Monday, March 13, 2017, service will be extended on the eastern end to Good-Latimer between Canton and Gaston, enabling D-Link to serve the popular Deep Ellum entertainment district.

  • Buses run every 15 minutes, 11 a.m. - 11:30 p.m., Monday-Saturday
  • Service provided by DART, Downtown Dallas, Inc. and the City of Dallas

Getting there on DART

Use the online DART Trip Planner, Google Transit or call 214-979-1111 Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., weekends and holidays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., to find the most convenient way to get to each destination. Every DART Rail station is easily accessible by bus, and most feature free parking.

Note: When planning an excursion, make sure service is available for all parts of your trip on the day and at the time you wish to travel.

Day Passes can be purchased from the GoPass℠ mobile ticketing app, ticket vending machines located at all DART Rail station platforms or from the bus operator. Day Passes are valid on the date of purchase until 3 a.m. the next day.
