DART – Let's Go.

Diversity & Inclusion Department

Equal Employment Opportunity Program

DART's Equal Employment Opportunity Program (EEOP) is designed to support our efforts to provide quality service, enhance efficiency, and cultivate a thriving internal environment that embraces workforce diversity.

DART's EEOP is intended to assure equal employment opportunity (EEO) without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, political opinion/affiliation or any other characteristics protected by law. While this document does not constitute an employment contract between DART and its employees, it embodies our endorsement of the principle of equal employment opportunity as a vital element in the employment process.

Achieving a technically qualified, productive, and highly motivated workforce through practices and procedures, which manifest themselves in equal opportunity, is a priority.

We are committed to employment-related actions that further these principles, including but not limited to recruitment, hiring, promotions, terminations, transfers, layoffs, compensation, benefits and training.

When workforce underutilization exists, goals will be established as an integral part of our EEOP and will be designed to improve DART's workforce representation in these identified areas. Through good faith efforts, DART is committed to this objective through regular monitoring and reporting.

The success of DART's EEOP is its administration. Gabriel J. Beltran, Interim Vice President, Diversity and Inclusion, represents DART as its EEO Officer and is responsible for the administration of all EEO programs. The AVP of Diversity is his primary assistant in carrying out his EEO duties.

The EEO Officer is responsible for implementation of programs regarding the Equal Employment Opportunity Plan, monitoring efforts, providing related training and processing internal/external EEO Complaints.

Managers and supervisors are responsible for ensuring that their employment decisions comply with federal and state laws and regulations, DART personnel policies and the EEO Program philosophy. All members of management and supervisors will be evaluated on EEO compliance as part of the performance management process.

Requests to review DART's Equal Employment Opportunity Plan may be made by writing to:
Vice President of Diversity 1401 Pacific Ave., 1st Floor, Dallas, TX 75202 or calling (214) 749-3366.
