SMU Mustangs football returns for the 2018 season with new head football coach Sonny Dykes. Watch the Mustangs take on American Athletic Conference rivals as well as non-conference foes at Gerald J. Ford Stadium on the SMU campus. Coming up:

Oct. 13 Walk to End Alzheimer's is an inspiring event that raises awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research. Walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to join the fight. In addition to the standard 5K, there will be a one-mile short route. The walk starts at 8 a.m. in Dallas City Hall Plaza, 1500 Marilla St. Information: alz.org.
Additionally, a Walk to End Alzheimer's will take place in The Colony on Sept. 29, starting at the Nebraska Furniture Mart, 5600 Nebraska Furniture Mart Drive. Information: alz.org.
