Oct. 23 The 2021 Komen Dallas MORE THAN PINK Walk, a national event that started in Dallas, returns to NorthPark Center on Saturday, October 23. The In-Person Opening Ceremony begins at 7:30 a.m. followed by the walk. Information: info-komen.org.

The SMU Mustangs return to the Hilltop ready for the 2021 football season. See them compete for the American Athletic Conference title at Gerald J. Ford stadium on the SMU campus. Come early to join alumni, family and friends on The Boulevard. Upcoming home games:

Nov. 25 The Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot is the traditional way to begin Thanksgiving Day for many in Dallas. The race will be held in-person on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 25th with a virtual option for people to participate no matter where they live. As COVID-19 continues to change in our community, the Dallas Y will adapt its protocols to help keep every in-person participant as safe as possible. The fun begins at 8:30 a.m. at Dallas City Hall, 1500 Marilla St. Information: ymcadallas.org/turkeytrot.

Dec. 12 The 2021 BMW Dallas Marathon and Half Marathon are scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 12. The 50th running of the marathon course begins and ends in Downtown Dallas and highlights the best areas of our beautiful city. Along the way, runners will pass through various popular neighborhoods with exciting cheer stations and on-course entertainment before finishing the race at Dallas City Hall Plaza.
