MegaFest 2017

June 28-July 1, 2017

MegaFest is a four-day festival of faith, film and family oriented events hosted in Dallas on June 28 through July 1, 2017, at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. DART is the offical transportation provider.

  • Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center (Convention Center Station) - Served by the Blue Line and the Red Line.

    If you are riding TRE to Union Station, transfer to the Blue Line or Red Line at Union Station. View more information about riding the TRE.

Save time and pre-purchase a DART and TRE 3-Day Pass

  • The Local 3-Day Pass is valid for unlimited riding on DART Rail and buses and TRE between Union Station and CentrePort/DFW Airport Station on days of the event.
  • Child and Senior passes as well as Local and Regional single Day Passes are also available.
  • These passes are not valid for Paratransit.
  • These passes are not valid for admission into any MegaFest events.
Passes are available for purchase from the free GoPass mobile ticketing application available in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. In the app, select Buy Tickets, All Tickets, Special Events to purchase your MegaFest transit pass.

Airport Service

Visitors can use DART or TRE service to and from DFW International Airport and Dallas Love Field Airport.

DFW International Airport:

DART has convenient and economical ways to travel between DFW Airport and downtown Dallas - DART Rail Orange Line, the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) commuter rail and DART bus route 408.

Dallas Love Field Airport:

DART's Love Link 524 operates between Dallas Love Field and Inwood/Love Field Station, providing an airport connection to the DART Rail Green Line and Orange Line. Frequency of service between the Inwood/Love Field Station and Love Field Airport is seven days a week and every 15 minutes during rush hours, 20 minutes mid-day and 30 minutes late evening.

Fare information

A Local Day Pass is the best value at only $5 for bus or light rail and can be purchased in advance by using the GoPass mobile ticketing application for Android and Apple smartphones available free through Google Play or the App Store.

Transit passes also can be purchased by cash or credit card at ticket vending machines located at all DART Rail stations. Day Passes are valid for unlimited rides on the date of purchase and through 3 a.m. the following day. Click here to learn how to use a DART TVM.

Please note:
  • When purchasing a Day Pass on a bus, exact cash or change is required. Fareboxes accept bills and coins, including $1 coins. Bus operators cannot provide change.
  • When purchasing passes at a Ticket Vending Machine, the TVM will make change in dollar coins.

Applicable on bus and rail for the following:
— Seniors (65 or older) with valid DART photo ID
— Non-paratransit certified persons with disabilities with valid DART photo ID
— Medicare card holders
— Children ages 5-14 (Children under age 5 may ride free when accompanied by an adult with valid local, regional or reduced fare [up to two children].)
— High school students with valid DART or student high school photo ID. High school fares are applicable on bus and rail and valid Monday through Friday only.
— College/Trade School students with valid DART-issued student photo ID for full-time undergraduate students registered at schools which are located in the DART Service Area and are not participating in the Higher Education Program. If you do not have a valid DART-issued student photo ID, you are not eligible to purchase a reduced fare.
Note for DCCCD, SMU and UTD students: DCCCD, SMU and UTD participate in a contracted pass program with DART. For that reason, DCCCD, SMU and UTD students do not qualify for reduced fares purchased on GoPass, from a Ticket Vending Machine or from a bus farebox. Old Red Courthouse The Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau has a Tourist Information Center located in the Old Red Courthouse at 100 S. Houston Street in downtown Dallas. The Tourist Information Center provides brochures, directions, and information about Dallas and the surrounding areas to visitors. Open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
