Two new members representing Dallas Roberto Alonzo and Linda Koop Named to Represent Dallas on DART Board of Directors Former state legislator Roberto R. Alonzo and community leader Linda Koop have been appointed to represent the City of Dallas on the DART Board of Directors. Board members are appointed by their member city councils. Alonzo, a former member of the Texas House of Representatives Transportation Committee, is an Oak Cliff attorney. He received a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. degree from Texas Southern University School of Law. Most recently a member of the Dallas Park and Recreation Board, Koop is chairman of Send-A-Kid-To-Camp and is a member of numerous community organizations. She also is a Life Member of the Texas PTA. She received a M.A. degree in International Management Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas and a B.A. from Colorado State University. -- 30 -- |
