Minor Changes Effective in September
DART Makes Route and Schedule Modifications
Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is making a series of minor bus service changes on Monday, September 12.
Most service levels will remain unchanged with only a small number of route modifications made to offer more direct access to employment and activity centers. In addition, some bus schedules will be adjusted to improve connections to rail and to more accurately reflect current ridership demands. Service reductions are planned for two low-performing routes.
Changes fall into three basic categories:
- Route modifications, including making current detours permanent, on the 110, 205, 234, 310, 415, 486, 525, 532 and 535.
- Service and schedule adjustments on routes, including the 021, 521, 538, 541 and 542.
- Sunday service reductions targeting low-performing routes on the 513 and 840-Flex.
More detailed information is available at www.DART.org or by calling 214.979.1111. Customers should also look for service change brochures and updated route maps and timetables available at transit centers and on board buses and trains.
