DART adding rail service for Fair Park Fourth

Four extra light rail trains will take customers from Parker Road Station to Fair Park Station between 7:20 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. so they can catch the fireworks at Fair Park Fourth. Those trains will operate every 30 minutes. DART is operating a Sunday schedule for the Independence Day holiday.

An extra Green Line train departs North Carrollton/Frankford Station at 8:11 p.m. All Green Line trains stop at Fair Park and MLK, Jr. stations. Customers using the regular Red or Blue Line trains should transfer to the Green Line at Pearl Station if they are coming from north of Downtown Dallas or West End, Akard or St. Paul stations if they are coming from the south.

The Trinity Railway Express does not operate on July 4.
