DART Adding Suburban Express Trips, Adjusting Schedules

DART makes it easier to travel between downtown Dallas and Glenn Heights, Carrollton, Farmers Branch and Richardson with the latest round of service improvements beginning Monday, April 23.

Glenn Heights
DART is adding another trip from Glenn Heights (Route 206) to downtown Dallas. The additional trip will leave the Glenn Heights Park and Ride (West of I-35 E at Gateway Blvd. & Bear Creek Rd. East) at 7:45 a.m.

Carrollton and Farmers Branch
Adjustments are being made to Route 204 from Carrollton to address delays caused by construction of the George Bush Turnpike. The schedule for Route 247 from Farmers Branch is being modified to include dedicated trips from downtown Dallas.

Richardson
Minor changes to Richardson Bus Route 201 are in the works as well. Some trips on Route 201 will stop at the Cityplace Rail Station bus portals to make it easier for customers to transfer to light rail or other bus routes stopping at Cityplace.

In all, DART is making minor schedule adjustments to 25 routes across its service area. Customers needing additional information should call DART Customer Information, 214-979-1111 or visit DART.org.
