DART Makes Game Day Travel Easy with Direct Service to the Red River Rivalry

Dallas, September 24, 2025 — Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is helping fans skip traffic and focus on the action with enhanced service for the annual Texas vs. Oklahoma football game at the Cotton Bowl on Saturday, October 11.

“Texas/OU at the Cotton Bowl is one of North Texas’ biggest traditions and DART is proud to be part of the experience,” said Trenise Winters, Chief Operations Officer. “Our goal is to provide fans with safe, reliable, and convenient transportation so they can enjoy the game and leave the driving to us.”

Starting at 9 a.m. on game day, DART will operate special bus shuttles every 30 minutes from Victory Station, Mockingbird Station, Bachman Station, CityLine/Bush Station, and Trinity Mills Station. DART will have additional staff at each of these stations to assist riders in finding the correct bus to get them to the game.

Shuttles will take fans directly to Lot 8 inside Fair Park, providing easy access to the game and fairgrounds through the Midway Gate prior to kickoff. Riders will receive color-coded wristbands and see large flags marking shuttle zones for a smooth experience when exiting the game.

When the final whistle blows, shuttles will be ready at Lot 8 to take fans back to their original station. The last buses will depart two hours after the game ends, giving riders plenty of time to enjoy postgame celebrations without worrying about parking or traffic congestion. One-way return trips will not be available for purchase at Lot 8.

The DART Green Line will run every 15 minutes throughout game day, with additional trains added to meet demand.

Fans are encouraged to purchase or activate their passes ahead of time using the GoPass app and cash payment at the shuttle stations are discouraged.  Arriving early is recommended to beat the crowds. Riders should also keep their wristbands visible for quick transfers and follow staff directions for the most efficient experience. Riders with wristbands or a valid day pass fare may board any DART service.

For fans whose trips from Fair Park include Trinity Rail Express, TRE will increase frequency to every 30 minutes for the two hours following the conclusion of the game on Saturday.
