DART Music Station is back on track!

DART Music Station logoBeginning in April, rail commuters will rock as DART brings back its free weekly concert series with local bands performing at selected rail stations in downtown Dallas.

Concerts will be held once a week at one of the following rail stations: Akard Station, Union Station or West End Station. The Akard Station and Union Station performances will be from 4-6 p.m. and West End Station performances will be at lunchtime, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Music Station is a great opportunity for local talent to get exposure through free advertising on DART vehicles and media partners. During the free concert, bands can sell their CDs and perform in front of large crowds. DART Rail serves 60,000 trips on an average weekday.

Bands scheduled to perform in April include:

· The Chemistry Set, April 6 at West End Station from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
· Johnny Lloyd Rollins, April 13 at Akard Station from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
· Superstring, April 20 at West End Station from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
· Shaun Ellis, April 27 at Union Station from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
