DART open houses preview new commuter options in Garland
Media Relations Contact: June 4, 2002 Garland rail stations opening Nov. 18 DART open houses preview new commuter options in Garland DART is hosting two June open houses to preview service plans for its new Forest/Jupiter and Downtown Garland rail stations opening November 18.
DART is expanding its Northeast Corridor by 4.6 miles from the LBJ/Skillman Station to Downtown Garland on November 18. Citizens will get information and give feedback on new bus and rail service. DART is planning three new routes and is proposing changes to routes 207, 281, 282, 283, 371, 372, 377, 378, 380, 400, 410, 412, 463, 486 and 550. The meetings precede an August 13 public hearing on bus service changes in Garland. That hearing will be held at DART Headquarters, 1401 Pacific in Dallas.
