DALLAS, Texas — Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) contractor Transdev Services, inc and its employee union – ATU Local 1833 – have reached an agreement that avoids a strike that could have impacted DART paratransit and GoLink services. 

On Tuesday, June 16, ATU Local 1833 and Transdev representatives announced that they reached a cooperative agreement and a strike would not occur. 

“DART is grateful to Transdev and ATU Local 1833 for coming to an agreement that avoided impacts to our most vulnerable riders,” said Trenise Winters, DART Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer. “Our collective goal is to provide safe, accessible transportation to North Texans, and that commitment was reaffirmed by our partners.”
