Dallas, March 20, 2026 - Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will host a public hearing at DART Headquarters at 1401 Pacific Ave on March 24, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. as part of its ongoing efforts to engage the community regarding potential service changes.  

Results of the May 2 elections in the DART Service Area Cities of Addison, Highland Park and University Park will determine the scope of specific DART service changes.  

The March 24 public hearing will provide community members with an opportunity to learn more about the proposed 2026 Service Changes. Through a series of community education meetings held prior to the Public Hearing, DART worked with communities and stakeholders to provide factual information about its services and the potential impacts of Addison, Highland Park or University Park withdrawing as a DART service area city.
