Riders get half-price admission Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesday.
DART to the Dallas Zoo!
It doesn't cost a lot to see an ocelot --- when you take DART to the Dallas Zoo!
Just present your validated rail ticket or transit pass for half-price Zoo admission on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The promotion, continuing through February 2002, brings together the thrill of viewing wild animals with the ease and fun of taking the train to the Zoo Station. Avoid traffic hassles and save $4 on parking when you step off the train, just across the street from the Zoo entrance. And don't overlook the wildlife-friendly station design with giraffe, leopard, tiger and zebra skin markings on its columns and guardrails.
The Dallas Zoo is open every day except Christmas, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Regular Zoo admission is $7 for adults, $4 for seniors 65 and older and $3 for children 3 to 11. Dallas Zoological Society members and children under 3 are free. Call 214-670-5656 or visit www.Dallas-Zoo.org for zoo information. Go to www.DART.org or call 214-979-1111 for DART details. -- 30 --
