His duties at DART include directing, developing and overseeing programs and activities in employee recruitment and retention, employee benefits, organizational development, payroll processing, compensation and wellness. Calcaño was recently a senior consultant in a Hispanic consulting network that provided advisory services to minority firms with a focus on operations process improvement and human resource strategy. He is a native of Venezuela and holds a degree in public and international affairs from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He has studied economics at Georgetown University, also in Washington, and graduate studies in personnel management at GWU. -- 30 -- |
