Making Choices for a Healthier Future

In celebration of Older Americans Month, senior citizens are invited to the 13th Annual Older Americans Month Information Fair on Thursday, May 3 presented by DART, Dallas Area Agency on Aging and Eddie Deen's Ranch.

The fun, free fair begins at 9 a.m. at Eddie Deen's Ranch in Downtown Dallas. Attendees are encouraged to save on parking by riding the DART Rail Red or Blue Line to Convention Center Station.

Each year, more than 40 organizations come together to provide seniors with information on a variety of topics including transportation, health, finance and safety.

This year, organizations such as the Methodist Health System and Parkland Senior Outreach Services will be on hand providing free health screenings including blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose and prostate screenings for men. There will also be refreshments, giveaways and plenty of fun and entertainment!
