Board members also elected Joyce Foreman vice chair, Angie Chen Button secretary and Lynn Flint Shaw assistant secretary. Officers serve one-year terms. Enoch was elected vice chairman in 2003. While on the DART Board he has served on the Administrative, External Communications, Legislative Ad Hoc, Planning and Project Management committees. A former Rowlett mayor, he is an attorney with the law firm Glast, Phillips and Murray. He holds Master of Business Administration and law degrees from Southern Methodist University and is listed in Marquis' "Who's Who in American Law." Foreman has represented Dallas on the DART Board since 2002. She is the owner of Foreman's Office Products, Inc., and is president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference's Dallas chapter. She also serves on the board or committees of the Chairman's Task Force of the State Fair of Texas, Dallas Aquarium Committee, the Dallas Together Forum, Dallas Independent School District Advisory Group District 6, and the Bond Advisory Committee Tri-Chair (Dallas Independent School District). Additionally, she is District 5 Representative of the American Public Transportation Association Transit Board Member Committee. Chen Button, who represents Garland, was appointed to the DART Board in 2002. She is a marketing manager for Texas Instruments. Her community involvement includes the chairmanship of the DFW Asian American Citizens Council. Shaw has represented Dallas on the DART Board since 2003. She is owner of Lynn Flint Shaw, M.C.D./C.C.C. & Associates, a Dallas-based speech and language pathology and occupational therapy practice. -- 30 -- |
