Proposed bus service changes presented in community meetings
DART is holding a series of community and public meetings throughout its service area to gather input on proposed bus service modifications.
DART is recommending ridership-based changes to 43 routes. These adjustments will enhance the efficiency of the service and help the agency reduce its operating costs by $13 million. There will be 19 community meetings preceding a July 8 public hearing on the changes. The meetings began June 10. The DART Board of Directors will vote on the proposed changes following the public hearing. Modifications approved by the Board will be implemented October 6.

The routes under review are: 8, 29, 31, 39, 49, 59, 63, 103, 155, 161, 202, 303, 321, 322, 342, 344, 353, 377, 400, 404, 412, 444, 453, 466, 475, 503, 505, 518, 527, 539, 549, 550, 560, 567, 569, 570, 575, 585, 703, 705, 712, 761 and 823.
