DART Safely Program Continues

Rail Safety Camp Meets Again, Saturday, September 18

The second DART Safety Camp is scheduled for Saturday, September 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at DART's Hampton Station (Hampton and Wright).

The first camp was held in June at Ledbetter Station. The camps are part of DART's on-going rail safety program. In addition to the camps, DART regularly presents safety education programs at community and PTA meetings, homeowner briefings and in area schools and daycare centers in an effort to prevent accidents and raise safety awareness along the 20-mile Light Rail Starter System.

The DART Safety Camp will include presentations on rail safety, entertainment and information booths from local businesses and organizations. The event is free.
