Construction work on Red Line, February 16 and February 17

Rail service interruption during President's Day weekend

On President's Day weekend, Saturday, February 16 and Sunday, February 17, DART will use buses to connect Red Line light rail train service between Lovers Lane and Park Lane stations while construction crews perform overhead electrical work needed for the rail extension into Richardson, set to open July 1.

Special signs at both stations will direct passengers to bus pickup locations for the short, non-stop trip.

The Red Line expansion features four Dallas stations opening this July: a new aerial Park Lane Station replacing the temporary station at Park Lane, Walnut Hill Station, Forest Lane Station and LBJ Central Station. Richardson rail stations include Spring Valley Station, Arapaho Center Station and Galatyn Park Station.
