Dallas – Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is ready to help everyone get to the 2026 Dallas St. Patrick’s Parade & Festival safely and conveniently on Saturday, March 14.
DART encourages paradegoers to celebrate responsibly and leave the driving to transit professionals as they head to the festivities along Greenville Avenue.
All DART Light Rail lines will operate on 20-minute service intervals with additional capacity to accommodate riders. Three-car trains will operate on the Red and Orange Lines, and two-car trains will operate on the Blue and Green Lines.
Customers traveling from Carrollton, Farmers Branch, and Dallas can ride the Green Line and transfer to either the Orange or Red Line in Downtown Dallas.
Passengers riding the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) can transfer to Orange Line trains at Victory Station. There will be no additional Silver Line or TRE service for the event. All Orange Line trains will be extended to Parker Road Station instead of terminating at LBJ/Central Station.
Bus routes 3 and 17 will operate on detour throughout the day until the parade concludes. Visit DART.org/rideralerts for the latest service information.
Riders can make their trip easier by purchasing a $6 Local Day Pass in advance through the GoPass® mobile app, which allows users to buy passes, plan trips, and view real-time bus or train arrival times on their phone. The app is available for free on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Customers without the app can purchase a Day Pass from ticket vending machines at any DART Rail station.
