Sophia Wilson, an 8^th grade student at Charles M. Blalack Middle School in Carrollton, is this year's Best of Show winner in Dallas Area Rapid Transit's (DART) annual Student Art Contest.

Sophia’s artwork, based on this year’s theme "Go here. Go there. Go everywhere.” gave students from kindergarten through 12^th grade an opportunity to show all the places (literally and otherwise) that DART can take them.

The 2023 DART Student Art Contest thanks our community partners the Dallas Museum of Art, Half Price Books, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, the Dallas Zoo, the Dallas Children’s Aquarium, the Dallas Arboretum, and Toyota, as well as our media partners the Advocate, Al Día, the Dallas Morning News, DFW Child, KERA, Local Profile, NBC 5, Plano Magazine, Telemundo 39 and WBAP 820.

The winning artwork will be seen at DART rail stations, buses and inside trains, as well as on display at the Dallas Museum of Art, Love Field Airport, and on DART’s website, DART.org.
