|  Media Relations Contact: July 25, 2014 Sponsors Announced for DART to DFW Events Dallas Area Rapid Transit is pleased to announce the following sponsors of grand opening events celebrating the takeoff of Orange Line service to the new DFW Airport Station on August 18:
The sponsorships are part of the regional recognition of the culmination of a thirty year plan to bring rail to the world's third busiest airport. The five-mile extension from Belt Line Station to Terminal A brings the DART light rail network to 90 miles, the longest in North America. DART is marking the start of service with a special August 15 recognition for area community and business leaders and elected officials who have helped make the rail line a reality. This coincides with dozens of customer events across the region designed to create excitement about this new connection for local, national, and international travelers.
