Tim McKay Promoted to DART Senior Vice President

Dallas Area Rapid Transit has promoted Timothy H. McKay, P.E., to Senior Vice President of Project Management. McKay oversees more than 150 projects, including the design and construction of DART's Light Rail expansion, one of the country's largest.

McKay started his career with DART in 2001 as Assistant Vice President of Special Projects and then as Interim Senior Vice President, Project Management. As a consultant, McKay has worked with DART since 1987, including 13 years with Professional Services Industries, where he progressed from Staff Engineer to Division Manager. He joined Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam in 1995, where he supported additional DART projects.

A Registered Professional Engineer, McKay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University. McKay represents DART at the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Construction Roundtable.
