Verizon to be presenting sponsor for airport station opening events

The host of events surrounding the August 18 opening of Dallas Area Rapid Transit's Orange Line to DFW International Airport has found a presenting sponsor in Verizon.

Verizon Wireless operates the nation's largest and most reliable 4G LTE network. As the largest wireless company in the U.S., it serves 104.6 million retail customers, including 98.6 million retail postpaid customers. The wireless industry leader is now taking the lead in celebrating DART's takeoff at the new DFW Airport Station.

Celebrations include a special August 15 recognition for area community and business leaders and elected officials who have helped make the rail line a reality, along with customer events across the region designed to create excitement about this new global connection.
