Apply or Renew Online

The DART GoPass® Tap Card provides a 50% discount off the public fare to all qualifying veterans, seniors, persons with disabilities, youth, students, and individuals who qualify based on income. The discount includes buses, rails and TRE.

You can now apply online if you qualify for a DART Reduced Fare under any criteria below. You will need to verify your identity and eligibility to receive your new Reduced Fare Card.

Veterans

Reduced fares are applicable for veterans with valid DART-issued photo ID. Veteran Tap Cards will be mailed to eligible applicants within 7-10 business days after completed verification.

Seniors - 65 & Older

Reduced fares are applicable for seniors with valid DART-issued photo ID. Seniors Tap Cards will be mailed to eligible applicants within 15 business days after completed verification.

People with Disabilities

Persons with disabilities must provide a valid DART-issued photo ID (Click here to view the medical certificate or state or federal disability identifications required for proof of disability.)

Children

Children aged 5-14, including middle school students, can apply anytime during the current school term. Children under age 5 may ride free when accompanied by an adult with a valid fare (up to two children).

High school students with a valid DART Service Area high school ID or a valid  DART-issued student ID can apply.

College & Trade School Students

Full-time undergraduate college/trade school students in the DART service area who are not participating in the Higher Education Program can apply with a valid DART-issued student photo ID. To find out if your school participates, visit here.
