The Downtown Garland Station is served by the Northeast segment of the DART Rail Blue Line. Downtown Garland Station patrons can set their watches by the huge clock tower in a setting where details suggest an old-fashioned train depot, with easy access to Garland's major civic centers and Performing Arts Center, linked by a crosswalk to the Garland Central Transit Center.
Effective March 16, 2026
Due to concrete repair work, the bus boarding areas at the Downtown Garland Station transit center will be temporarily relocated.
During construction, bus routes 203, 224, 238, 250, and 251 will board in the parking lot located east of the transit center. GoLink and Paratransit will not be rerouted.

The DART Rail system features 65 stations, located in downtown Dallas, South Dallas, South Oak Cliff, West Oak Cliff, the North Central Expressway Corridor to North Dallas, Richardson and Plano, the Northeast Corridor to Garland and Rowlett, the Northwest Corridor to Farmers Branch and Carrollton, the Southeast Corridor to Pleasant Grove and the Northwest Corridor to Irving and DFW Airport.
