DART joins the big switch off
The lights at Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) are set to go off for a good cause this coming March 26th between 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm as part of the global Earth Hour.
For the third year, all non-essential lights at DART's headquarters building, 1401 Pacific Avenue, will be turned off during that time to help raise environmental awareness.
Earth Hour is about making simple changes that will collectively make a difference. DART makes a difference each day with its zero-emissions trains, clean-fuel buses, high occupancy vehicle lanes, and numerous solar-powered bus shelters.
