DART has expanded its game-day lineup to help deliver a great experience on Saturday, Oct. 10, but it’s important to follow a winning game plan. Here’s your game-day playbook:

1. Rely on your coaching staff: DART staff will be at key stations well before game time to make your trip smooth and provide instructions. If you’re lost or need information, let us assist! After the game, DART staff will also be on hand to help you with your return trip.
2. Go with GoPass^®: To make your experience as smooth as possible, DART recommends buying your transit passes with the free GoPass app. It’s the most convenient way to pay your fare, particularly if you’re traveling in a large group. Be sure to download the latest version so you can buy passes for all your tailgate crew!
3. Have a backup: If you prefer a traditional pass, consider DART’s newer touchscreen ticket vending machines, which accept cash, credit cards, debit cards or tap-to-pay mobile wallets.
4. Choose the Green or Orange Line: This year, the Orange Line gets you to Fair Park, too. DART has modified Orange Line service on Saturdays and Sundays to provide more trains through the Fair Park and downtown areas. If you need to travel along the North Central Expressway corridor on Saturdays or Sundays during the Fair’s run, be advised that the Orange Line will only operate between DFW Airport Station and Buckner Station.
5. Activate, activate, activate: If you purchase your pass with the GoPass app, be sure to activate your ticket before you board. Day passes are only valid on the day of activation.
6. Tap and go: If you purchase your fare with a GoPass^® Tap card, a contactless credit or debit card, or a payment-enabled mobile device, you must use a unique form of contactless payment for each rider. Your contactless card or digital wallet serves as your ticket and proof of payment. And be sure to tap your contactless card or mobile device to a reader on a DART Rail platform or bus prior to boarding.
7. Do the shuttle shuffle: DART will offer special game day shuttles from these locations: Addison Station, CityLine/Bush Station, Downtown Rowlett Station, Glenn Heights Park & Ride, Lake Hubbard Transit Center and SMU/Mockingbird Station. Please review the shuttle section below to see if that may work better for your trip.
8. Park it: FREE parking is available at many DART facilities. Skip the hassle and expense of parking around the fairgrounds -- find the Park & Ride nearest you by clicking here. Please note: No parking is available at SMU/Mockingbird Station, and J.B. Jackson, Jr. Transit Center only offers paid parking during the Fair.
9. Run the spread: Spread out along the platform as your train approaches and use all available doors for boarding. Also, please note that the center section of each rail vehicle has low floors, making it convenient for boarding wheelchairs, strollers, and anything else with wheels.
10. Start early: Above all, DART encourages you to allow extra time and take advantage of early transit service to ensure you’re in your seat in time for kickoff. Trains typically begin filling more than two hours before kickoff.
