Dallas CBD Second Light Rail Alignment (D2 Subway) - FEIS/ROD

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA), with Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) as the local project sponsor, has issued the Final Environmental Impact Statement/Record of Decision (FEIS/ROD) for the Dallas CBD Second Light Rail Alignment (D2 Subway). You can view the FEIS/ROD below. The FEIS/ROD includes several appendices, such as the 30% Preliminary Engineering design plans.

Copies of the FEIS/ROD are also available for public viewing at the Dallas Public Library, 1515 Young St, Dallas, TX 75201. Library hours may be affected by COVID-19 restrictions, and it remains closed as of April 2021. Please contact DART Community Engagement at 214-749-2721 to make arrangements for viewing a hard copy at DART Headquarters if needed.

Comments

The 45-day public comment period for the SDEIS was from May 15, 2020 through June 29, 2020. Comments received during the 45-day review period were classified and recorded into appropriate subject areas. All comments were reviewed and are documented in the FEIS/ROD; substantive comments received responses.

While the official SDEIS comment period has closed, you are still welcome to submit comments on the project to [email protected] for consideration in future phases of design.
