Request to Address the DART Board Form

* Fill in all the required fields and any relevant fields. Otherwise, your request may be rejected/delayed.

The time allocated to each speaker can be modified at the Chair’s discretion.

Each speaker will have three (3) minutes to address the Board. If an interpreter is needed, twice the amount of time will be allowed to ensure that non-English, and non-verbal, speakers receive the same opportunity to address the Board.

Speakers are allowed to address the Board once during a specified meeting.
Public comments specific to agenda items will be allowed at the beginning of the Audit, Committee-of-the-Whole, and DART Board of Directors’ meetings to address an item on the agenda before or during DART’s consideration of the item. General public comments are allowed at the end of the DART Board of Directors meeting only. Online registered speakers will be called first, followed by sign-in speakers in the order received. Those who do not wish to speak may submit written comments. All comments will be included in the official public record.

Board members may not ask questions, offer their own comments, or otherwise interact with a speaker or other Board members during the hearing. Technical Staff will be available after the public hearing for questions. Information provided on this form is subject to the Texas Public Information Act.
